Hi there, and welcome to the new home of Sailing It’s The Truth! We’re so glad you’ve found your way here. This space has been a dream of ours for a while — a place where we can share more of our adventures, thoughts, and behind-the-scenes moments that don’t always make it into our YouTube videos.
For those of you who are new here, we’re a couple living full-time aboard our 39-foot Cal sailboat, It’s The Truth. She’s not just our boat — she’s our home, our adventure partner, and sometimes our biggest challenge! Over the past couple of years, we’ve sailed thousands of miles — from the east coast of the USA, to the warm waters of the Caribbean all the way up through the Inside Passage to Alaska, and back down the rugged Pacific coast to explore new horizons.
Along the way, we’ve weathered storms, shared countless sunsets, caught more fish and crabs than we ever imagined, and met some of the most incredible people. Every passage has taught us something new about the sea, our boat, and ourselves.
Now, as we continue to explore new coastlines and chase our sailing dreams, we’re excited to share more of our story here — in words and photos — alongside our YouTube adventures.
We’ll be honest: we may not post here on a regular schedule (life at sea tends to write its own timelines!), but our goal is to start sharing written updates, reflections, and stories that go deeper into the moments you see on camera. We’ll also be posting links to our latest YouTube videos so you can keep up with our adventures in both formats.
Whether you’ve been following us from the beginning or are just dropping anchor here for the first time, thank you for being part of this journey. We hope this blog becomes a cozy corner where you can come along for the ride — to feel the wind, the wonder, and sometimes the wildness of life afloat.
